A Rosen 3rd of July

We enjoyed an evening in Rosen with the Rademacher Family celebrating the 4th of July. We had dinner, played some lawn games, and of course lit off fireworks!

Here is Brady...2 years old

Everyone loves Auntie Emily---Hattie is getting some snuggling time with her!

Peyton--almost six years old!

A Camping Adventure

In April, I decided that I would head to Girl Scout camp with Larkin. What an experience it was! We went to "troop camp" at Camp Shingobee Timbers near Hackensack, Minnesota. There were eight girls and four adults from her troop...besides the heat, humidity, horseflies, bees, dragonflies, and mosquitos it was a pretty good time. Larkin had her first adventure at rock climbing, kayaking, and making caramel apples over the fire. Here are a few pics from the two days/three nights we were there.
Getting ready to head to our campsite with all of the gear.

Swimming fun!
Larkin's first time kayaking--she loved it!

Baseball, Baseball, Softball, and (Wrestling?!)

Summer is flying by us....I wish it would warm up! I do have to say though, that I would rather sit at a game when it is 65 degrees rather than 100 degrees! Here are some pictures of summer activities. I am not able to go as much as I would like to the games because of my class and internship schedule--it is not much fun to miss their games (except when it is raining and super cold!!) It is hard to believe how fast time goes!

This is a picture of Bennett at his first day of baseball--he is wrestling in the outfield. He said he was bored. I will get some more pictures of him actually playing!

Larkin decided to try softball this year and has really enjoyed it! She has met some nice girls on her team and she has improved a lot. On the second night I asked her which position she was going to play and her answer was "I hope not first....it is super busy over there."

Alex decided to play baseball again this year--which makes his Dad very happy! He is really enjoying it, which makes his Dad even happier! It is fun to watch how much better they get every year.

Mason is playing ball again with the same group of kids he has played with for the last several years. He usually catches and does a really nice job---watching and paying attention to what Uncle Mick did for all of those years is paying off!

It has been a busy summer....but so much fun. We wouldn't have it any other way....except with a little more sun !
